Paxton has been cleaning hoarded homes for over 15 years and has seen it all—from 300 cats to an 8-foot wide rats’ nest. Most recently, Paxton has used his vast experience to create Legacy Navigator, a company dedicated to guiding families through estate liquidation and settlement. Matt travels the country, speaking about hoarding awareness and extreme cleaning. Matt lives in Virginia with his family.
The Secret Lives of Hoarders is much more than harrowing tales of attacking the ugliest, dirtiest, and most shocking hoarding cases in the country. It is a behind-the-scenes look at this hidden epidemic- what it means, how to recognize it before it gets out of hand, and how to deal with it. It is an engrossing and sometimes unsettling look at extreme clutter but one that helps hoarders, their families, and their friends to find meaning in the chaos.
